Cray was a beautiful scientist who was an expert in artificial intelligence. She came to the Academy with her partner and boyfriend Nichos Mar. When Nichos was struck with the fatal Quanot's Syndrome, Cray undertook a crash plan to transfer his mind, intelligence, and -- if possible -- his very essence into a near-human android body using Ssi-Ruuvi technology. Along with Nichos and myself, Cray was swept up into the reawakened Imperial battlemoon, the Eye of Palpatine. After a series of near disasters, Cray and Nichos sacrificed their lives to destroy the dangerous spacecraft before it wiped out the planet of Belsavis, once a home of the lost Children of the Jedi, one of whom Nichos was. Cray, however, managed to let the disembodied spirit of Jedi Knight Callista Ming, trapped in the battlemoon's gunnery computer system since her own attempt to disable it failed, to pass into her body. Callista was jettisoned from the Eye before its destruction. Cray's sacrifice allowed Callista to live again, a sacrifice that I will always remember.
