Tam is the quiet son of the cyborg-Jedi Daye Azur-Jamin and the ex-bounty hunter Tinian I'att. He is a powerful Jedi in his own right and when, prior to the Yuuzhan Vong attack on Duro his father broke contact while investigating Vong occupation on Nal Hutta, I sent Tam to check up on him. Tam is also an accomplished pilot, serving as wingman to myself and my wife, Mara Jade-Skywalker in several Jedi actions against the Yuuzhan Vong, including defending Coruscant. Tam, along with Tenel Ka, Lowbacca, Zekk, Tahiri Veila, the Solos, and all of the other young Jedi trainees give me great hope about the future of the Jedi Order.
