Hivrek'wao'cheklev, or simply Cheklev as he is known to many, is a Jedi Knight from the world of Devaron. Following the declaration by Yuuzhan Vong Warmaster Tsavong Lah that the galaxy would be spared if all the Jedi were turned over, Cheklev was betrayed by his own people and nearly fell into Vong hands. He used the recently set-up "Great River" escape route to make his way to safety, though. He was a vital part of the Eclipse Project, which founded a secret base for refugee Jedi. He also assisted Ganner Rhysode in tracking down the worldship near Myrkr that housed the voxyn queen. This creature, "shaped" from the DNA of Force-hunting vornskrs and used as a basis for many clones, was destroyed by a Jedi strike team.
