Dorsk 82 joined the Jedi Academy after his predecessor, Dorsk 81, gave his life defending Yavin IV. He went with his partner and
nominal teacher, Kyp Durron, to the mining world
of Corbos to check out a distress signal. There he distinguished himself in combat
against the Leviathan alongside Kyp, Streen, and
Kirana Ti.
Dorsk 82 served for many years as a model Jedi. When the Yuuzhan Vong began invading
the galaxy, he fought bravely to defend the helpless. After a confrontation on the
planet Duro between Jacen Solo and the Vong
Warmaster Tsavong Lah, the latter ordered the heads of all the Jedi in return for
halting the invasion, a promise sure to be broken. Shortly afterward, Dorsk 82 was on
the planet Ando, helping endangered droids escape the frenzied mobs wanting to get in
good with the Vong by destroying all machinery. Sadly, not only did Dorsk fail to get
the droids off-planet, he was killed by the trigger-happy Aqualish and presumably taken
to a Vong contingent. Like his fore-runner, Dorsk 82 sacrificed himself to protect
others. He will be missed.
