A fifteen-year-old shaman-warrior I encountered on Ossus, Rayf, and indeed his entire tribe of Ysanna, are descendents of ancient Jedi and therefore have a stronger than average Force ability. Rayf and his sister Jem accompanied me to New Alderaan where he was instrumental in saving Jaina and Jacen Solo from the Emperor Reborn's Dark Side Elite warriors. When his sister was killed, Rayf came with us to Nespis VIII. Rayf also accompanied a task force consisting of me, Kam Solusar, and King Empatojayos Brand to the Imperial world of Vjun in a successful attempt to stop the Dark Side Elite and rescue the captured leaders of the Ysanna. Unfortunately, the latter half of the mission failed. While protecting Han and Leia Organa-Solo's newborn son, Anakin, on the planet Onderon, Rayf fought valiantly against the remaining Dark Siders, but was ultimately struck down by the Emperor himself.
